Why do you enjoy working in Judicial Affairs?

It's very different and very interesting from my other job, that of campus events scheduler for the Office of Student Life.

Where is your hometown or where did you grow up?

I grew up in a Navy family so we moved around a lot. I consider Oxnard, CA my hometown since I grew up there, and home base whenever I take off to move elsewhere in the US.

What is your favorite food?

Whatever I am craving for at the time!

What is (are) your favorite thing(s) to read (book, magazine, newspaper, etc.)?

I have an extensive library of various books, including autographed copies of some of my favorite people who I may consider to be role models or those I admire for their life works. Generally, I love to read and will gobble up news from any resource, even from the Internet!

What kind of music do you enjoy listening to?

World music from, well, anywhere around the world! There's a lot of untapped talent out there and I love hearing any type of music, except where vulgar language is used to try and get whatever message the "musician" is trying to get across.

Do you have any pets? What kind and what are their names?

YES! I had two cats but had to put down my older cat, Kit, a couple of years ago. That was very traumatic, to say the least. But I have my baby, Tigger, whom I literally have had since he was a kitten when he had a tail twice the size of his body that eventually grew along with him! He's my sweetheart and my heartbeat!

What is your favorite hobby or pastime?

Besides reading, cooking, snowskiing, traveling, and being with family and friends, I love observing people with a good cuppa coffee in hand! I also love to do nothing but watch TV when I get home!

Do you have a favorite sport that you play or enjoy watching?

I love snowskiing but I also love watching college (GO CU Buffaloes!) and pro football (GO Denver Broncos!), as well as cheering for my nephew and his baseball team!

What is your favorite color?

Purple and green, hands down!

Do you speak any language other than English?

I understand and can speak some Tagalog (main Pilipino dialect) and from 3rd grade until college, learned and spoke French. Speaking French came in handy when I visited France, but with no one to talk to on a consistent basis, I've lost the touch. I can probably pick up a phrase or two if I heard someone spoke...

What is your favorite movie or TV show (or both)?

I love watching movies but currently have no faves, just anything that makes me laugh or keeps me upbeat! As for TV shows, I love sitcoms, the whole CSI and Law & Order series, and newsmagazines.
